DIETER MORSZECK FOUNDATION
We support people where they need help
Helping in small and large ways – that is the aim of the Dieter Morszeck Foundation, which the entrepreneur of the same name set up in 2016.
In 1898, Dieter’s grandfather founded the Paul Morszeck suitcase factory, which was later renamed “Richard Morszeck Warenzeichen”, or RIMOWA for short, by his father. Under his father’s leadership, the first suitcase made of corrugated aluminum was developed in 1950. Since 1981, Dieter Morszeck has successfully steered the fortunes of the family business and turned RIMOWA GmbH into a global company. Today, he manages the Dieter Morszeck Foundation with enthusiasm, dedication, creativity and perseverance, which initiates and supports projects for the common good.
The charitable foundation under civil law focuses on four areas: Air rescue projects, medical research and care, education and the support of children and young people in financial need.
