The Dieter Morszeck Foundation is supporting the construction of a new wing of the children’s hospital in Cologne’s Amsterdamer Strasse with EUR 9 million. The hospital is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Germany. Every year, around 10,000 children are treated here as inpatients and 5,000 operations are carried out. In addition, around 35,000 children are examined and treated in the emergency outpatient clinic every year.
